The intent of the Basic Paces Dressage Series is to encourage the inexperienced horse and / or rider combination to "have a go" in a low pressure and friendly atmosphere.

Specifically created for inexperienced combinations, the dressage tests are relatively short (easy to remember) and comprise the use of transitions and simple school movements.

The Basic Paces series consists of four individual events with points awarded relative to placings within classes in each event. Series champions will be decided based upon points earned at each level.
